How Will We Learn How to Post?
As we learn to properly post and learn to enjoy posting, we need to view sample blog postings. Keep in mind we are new at this form of writing. It will be an enjoyable way to create a new voice.
As I reasearch various methods and suggestions on how to write a blog post, one thing stands out, there is a need to learn how to write. Students do need to embrace the art of writing. Stepping away from short text messages to engage in longer versions of communication is vital. Communication is an essential part of every industry, college and armed forces. We all need to write at some time or another.I know I can't begin to address how I do not feel comfortable writing personally. I would describe myself as being drawn to books, but never felt comfortable as a writer or someone who enjoys writing.
As we go along and learn how to address each need of the the various social media tools, we need to understand their individual requirements.
The Oxford Dictionary has a great article regarding writing tips for blogs. Learn to watch using the Cliques. Check It Out!

Learning To Blog!
Well today is the Phanatic's birthday and how appropriate is his picture!!! If a picture is worth a thousand words and the Phanatic is Tweeting, we know he is limited to 140 characters. How do you respond to questions in a limited voice? How do you make an impression or create a meaningful conversation?
As our class starts to post Blog entries, it is important that they take their writing seriously and with purpose. Anyone can go on and on without saying a single important idea. It is those of us who use this social media tool in the most beneficial manner, that will be remembered and leave a thought provoking post. Make the impression, leave the thought provoking post or comment, engage a conversation, and make an impact.
As we learn how to use each Social Media tool, we must be aware of the power that we hold and potential to make a difference to our readers. Make the difference!!!!
